Kate Batista has been working in the field of energy healing since 1995. In the early 1990’s, Kate had a powerful awakening during a week-long retreat in the White Mountains of New Hampshire while with a group of people from the Boston Kung Fu Tai Chi Institute. During meditation in the forest, Kate had her heart chakra opened by Master Yao Li, the founder of the Institute and recognized Chinese martial arts practitioner. Although the focus of the retreat was Kung Fu and Tai Chi, she was also introduced to Kundalini yoga by Scott Wedman, of Boston Celtics Basketball fame, who was the yoga teacher at the retreat. Her Kundalini awoke on the last night of the retreat as the group meditated and practiced “Breath of Fire '' as the Northern Lights put on a celestial spectacle for the group in the sky above the mountains.
In San Francisco during the 90’s Kate was a student of Annie Ciekanski and Sabine Kuhner, both educated and certified in India to teach Iyengar Yoga. During these classes, she released many fears and became energetically and physically conditioned to enable her to pursue her goal of being a Shiatsu practitioner. This was accomplished at the San Francisco School of Massage, The Shiatsu Institute and the Boston Shiatsu School. Thus began a successful career which lasted for her over the next 25 years. Additional modalities she holds certifications for include Breema, Chi Nei Tsang, Craniosacral Therapy, Cupping and Reiki Jin Kei Do.
In July of 2013, Kate discovered her natural connection to the angelic realm during a pivotal moment which occurred for her when her Aunt Kathy, who was her godmother and like a second mother to her, was dying. Her aunt believed in angels with her whole heart and prayed to them often. As Kate sat by her aunt’s side providing a Reiki treatment, she felt a call to allow her Aunt Kathy’s personal guardian angel into her body to comfort her aunt. In that moment, a beautiful sacred event then occurred, where Kate felt the angel’s etheric wings come out of her back and reach down over her to embrace and comfort her aunt.
In May of 2020, Kate’s abilities to feel and see energy increased significantly after receiving many sessions from retired healer and mystic Michele Mayama, from St. Paul, Minnesota, USA. As her healing with Michele evolved, the sessions began to morph into coaching as Michele shared with Kate the manner in which she worked.
Starting in January 2021, Kate also immersed herself in an intense meditation practice and received Shaktipat, Supramental Force and Light Transmissions from Gareth Duigman of True Spiritual Awakening in Wicklow, Ireland. These deep spiritual practices and explorations facilitated a lot of clearing and expansion of her field. Her heart now knows God and continues to expand as does her crown and third eye.
Also in 2021, Kate began training with Fabio Sebastian Goll of Sementes de luz in Lisbon, Portugal. His beautiful Divine work and guidance support her to this day on the path.
Receiving Darshan in person from Gareth, Eva Mueller, Mother Meera and Amma and attending many week long retreats brought realization of the Self and Unity Consciousness. Working with Barry Martin and Karen Anderson of Birthing the Luminous Self assisted in opening into the belly using the Ilahinoor transmission and tuned her into the knowing of the Soul Lotus, precipitating many clearings and much transmutation, still an ongoing process.
Most recently an incredible internship with Patrice Krystofiak and Amy Elizabeth has opened up more compassion, understanding and expansion. They both offered wonderful guidance and great healing as well.
